On Thursdays, Sunset Beach has an unmistakable hustle and bustle by way of its own Farmers Market! Down by the waterfront park, you’ll find friendly and maybe even some familiar faces with white tents adorning the path by the water protecting fresh produce, scrumptious baked goods and handmade items created.

PURE MARKETS

Pure Markets birthed our coastal farmers market. Its creation was founded on providing local growers, artists and entrepreneurs a venue to offer and sell their goods to Sunset Beach. The market has made it possible to offer local farm products and prepared foods to our public, but it’s also bringing our community together and strengthening it by providing a social gathering for neighbors, friends and visitors alike.

The market encourages residents and visitors to gather and mingle at the market and connect with the artists and farmers that choose to enhance Sunset Beach.  

At the market you’ll find items like: fresh FRESH produce, pickled treats, honey, nuts, kettle corn, baked goods, handmade jewelry, homemade signs, pottery, coastal souvenirs, clothing, candles, refreshing beverages, plants and flowers, items for the kiddies and so much more!

Vendors are there waiting for you every Thursday until October from 9 am to 1 pm. It’s definitely a weekly town event you don’t want to miss. The market is located at 206 Sunset Boulevard every Thursday until October 10th.

GRATEFUL HEARTS MARKET

If you’d like to add another event to your week, the waterfront is now host to Greatful HeARTs Market presented every Monday from 9 am to 1 pm until September 2nd.

Grab the family, grab your sister, grab your best friend and head over to start your week off right! You’ll find amazingly talented artists, local musicians, entrepreneurs, fresh farm produce, and a truly wonderful shopping experience. Greatful HeARTs Market is also located by the waterfront at 206 Sunset Boulevard.

Holden Brothers Farmers Market in Shallotte located at 5600 Ocean Hwy W is open daily Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 7 pm and on Sundays from 8 am to 6 pm.

Shallotte Farmer’s Market located at 123 Mulberry Street is open on Saturday’s from 9 am to 1 pm.

Indigo Farms in Calabash located at 1542 Hickman Road NW is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm.

Brunswick Berries in Bolivia located at 1726 Southport-Supply Road SE is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Sundays from 1 - 6 pm.
